Architecture Program FT of Udayana University Welcomed Field Lecture Visit from Architecture Student of Pandanaran University University General

On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, Architecture Program FT Udayana University welcomed a Field Lecture (KKL) visit from architectural students of Pandanaran University. This visit was part of a series of Pandanaran Architecture program’s KKL program, which held on November 8-10, 2022. In addition to fulfilling study requirements, a visit to Udayana University was expected to be a means of exchanging ideas and insights related to Balinese architecture.


In the KKL visit, a group of 20 architecture students from Pandanaran University and two supervisers were received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Mr. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D. This activity was also attended by three lecturers from Architecture program who accompanied the discussions and visits to the Architecture program campus area. The three lecturers who involved in this visit were Mr. Antonius Karel Muktiwibowo., ST., MT., Ph.D., Mr. I Putu Weka Wendyputra, S.T., M.T., and Ms. Ida Ayu Shanty Pradnya Paramitha, S.T., M.Ars.


The KKL visit of Pandanaran University Architecture students which started at 10.00 WITA, was opened with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and activity documentation. Then the event continued by the presentation conducted by the Architecture lecturer of Udayana University team. The material presented was an introductory material for architectural objects that would be visited by Pandanaran University students, namely Green School, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), and Panglipuran Village. In addition to discussing architectural objects and their relation to Balinese Architecture, both parties also used the discussion to exchange ideas about the study process in each program as well as competition and collaboration activities carried out to improve the quality of education in each institution. The visit was closed with a tour to architecture FT campus area. Pandanaran University Architecture students was given the opportunity to visit the architectural design studio (SPA) 1 and 6, to see the studio process and assignments given to 1st semester and 7th semester students in Architecture program of Engineering Faculty of Udayana University.
