Curriculum 2020 (MBKM)
Based on the Rector's Regulation of Udayana University Number 12 of 2020 about Management of the 'Program Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka' and referring to the evaluation of the 2017 to 2020 Curriculum that has been carried out as well as guidelines based on the KPT, KKNI KAAB, and the Udayana University's Guidebook for 'Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka', the MBKM Curriculum for the year 2020 set. The determination of the 2020 MBKM Curriculum is stated based on the Rector's Decree Number 3851/UN14.2.5/HK/2020. In the MBKM Curriculum, the Architectural Design Studio remains a core course supported by supporting and characterizing courses.
The MBKM 2020 curriculum is structured based on the equivalence of structured activity loads. So that students do not only gain learning experience in campus, but can also learn through other study programs or through internship. Based on Permendikti Number 14 of 2015 concerning SNPT, article 17 defines the notion of 1 credit as 170 minutes of student learning activities per week in one semester. In the MBKM curriculum, the Architecture Study Program provides a choice of three semesters for students who are interested in doing education outside the campus. The three semesters are:
- Student Exchange Block which has been implemented since the Odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year through the ICT (International Credit Transfer) program and in July 2021 through the IISMA (International International Student Mobility Award) program by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs
- The Internship Program Block which has been implemented since the Odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year through collaboration between PSA FT Unud and the professional organization IAI and 20 consulting companies, most of whom are alumni of PSA FT Unud.
- The Thematic Community Service Program Block (KKNT) with the theme Regional Arrangement and Quality of Life Improvement (PWPKH) whose preparation phase begins in early 2021 in Kesiman Kertalangu Village to begin in the Odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.
In the 2020 MBKM curriculum, the three MBKM concepts have been mapped in the curriculum structure, namely semesters 5, 6, and 7 along with course repositioning, which aims to equalize competencies between courses and the MBKM concept.
