Curriculum 2022

Higher education in architecture has faced considerable challenges in the last five years. The Covid 19 Pandemic has changed the order of education in general and architectural education in particular, where distance restrictions and online learning systems are an absolute must be integrated into every architecture course, including architectural design studios. The implementation of the Free Market and open job competition in the architectural world with the rise of digital architectural services across countries are challenges that must be faced. Along with changes in the global situation, higher education in architecture needs to respond immediately to these changes, especially in its educational curriculum.

The 2022 curriculum refers to several points of view. First, the viewpoint of the world of architectural education uses competency references from APTARI (Association of Indonesian Architectural Higher Education). In contrast, references from the professional architectural world are KAAB (Korea Architectural Accrediting Board), AUN (ASEAN University Network Accreditation), and IAI (Indonesian Association of Architects). The preparation of the 2022 Curriculum follows the Higher Education Curriculum structure (KPT) concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the right to three semesters of study outside the study program, according to Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020.
