JA Unud

UNUD's e-Jurnal of Architecture (JA) is a collection of periodical published articles which are the result of thorough and interdisciplinary studies in the fields of architecture, planning, and the built environment. The aim of JA UNUD is to link theory and practice to the real world of work in the fields of architecture and research design, as well as urban planning and building environmental studies. The contributors to the JA UNUD article mainly come from the architectural academic community, but there are still opportunities for actors and observers of the field of architecture, such as: building architects, interior designers, city planners, and landscape architecture who work in academic institutions, research institutions, government institutions, university, and private practice to contribute.

JA UNUD started research studies, critiques and evaluations of objects exhibited, both micro and macro, etc. The sub-fields that can become the topic of articles at JA UNUD are divided into 3 (three) parts:

1. Architectural and Design Research: Topics belonging to this sub-field include: sustainable technology and design, computer architecture, design methods and theories, architectural behavior, architectural design and architecture, post-occupancy evaluation, cultural and social aspects of design, etc. .
2. Urban and Built Environment Studies: Topics covered include: sustainable conservation, environmental planning, new urban policy and design, GIS applications in architecture, etc.
3. Criticism of Architectural Planning and Built : Topics included in this sub-field include: the results of discussions on architectural projects that are being planned, under construction, and after that. Articles are usually the result of observations of case studies.
