SEMADI 2022 University General
The epidemic and pandemic of the coronavirus disease
(COVID19) which is currently affecting the world, has prompted the emergence of
various policies. There are various new adjustments in space use policies, such
as restrictions on the use of public spaces, increasing social distance between
people, to restrictions on movement on a regional scale. Space is definitively
very closely related to architecture both in the micro scope (building design)
to the macro scope (residential and urban areas). Therefore, smart and
visionary thoughts are needed to re-conceptualize spatial aspects in this
post-pandemic period with the hope that future architectural embodiments can
respond well to similar events.
